The stories are sourced from the works of Ibn Kathir, a scholarly figure esteemed for his profound knowledge of the teachings of Muhammad (PBUH) and the entirety of the Quran. Ibn Kathir, recognized as a qadi, a distinguished historian, a muhaddith, and a mufassir (Quranic commentator), penned a renowned commentary on the Quran known as Tafsir al-Quran al-'Adhim. This commentary connects Hadiths (sayings of Muhammad) and narrations from the sahaba to Quranic verses for elucidation. Tafsir Ibn Kathir stands as one of the most widespread explanations of the Quran globally, revered among Muslim communities.
